Radio Purchase & Programming Procedure

LS1 CPSF will not be making use of UHF radios anymore.

This is due to the fact that our analogue infrastructure is not maintainable any longer.  The upgrade to digital is simply too costly, both in terms of replacing the infrastructure but also for the handheld radios.

However, there is an alternative!

We have tested mobile network connected walkie talkies and are satisfied with the results.  There is also an option to use a single user license PTT mobile application.
